About Abe Nursery
Abe Nursery is one of the wholesale nurseries listed in Carpinteria, California. The business is registered at 3894 Via Real, Carpinteria, CA 93013; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
In Carpinteria, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in California, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 am–12 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Abe Nursery at (805) 684-3335; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Google shows 5.0 out of 5 based on 3 reviews. With so few reviews the score can move quickly; it will become more reliable as more customers leave feedback.
Carpinteria is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Carpinteria follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Consistently one of the best places to find what I am looking for. Richard is a happy, helpful and at the top of the plant knowledge spectrum. I always feel good energy when I look around their operation. And… the prices are great.

The best prices in town! As an owner of a small landscaping business this is my go to for plants. They have such an amazing variety of plants and carts you can drive to pickup your plants. Richard the owner, Derek, Mauricio and the rest of the staff are great. They really care for their customers and plants. If they don't have the plants available, they will order them or guide you in the right direction to get what you need as fast as possible. I'm very grateful for their knowledge and help. This nursery is wholesale only for landscape professionals, so please keep that in mind. That's why the prices are unbeatable. They deliver as well! My dad and brother whom own their own landscape companies have been going here for years. Thank you Richard and the team!
